Quality Assurance and Training Regulation

describe the image24-7 Fire training courses are designed to meet the highest national, state and local training requirements for the professional development of firefighters, fire inspectors, and fire officers.

All 24-7 Fire courses comply with the codes and standards established by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). The NFPA is the world's leading advocate of fire prevention and an authoritative source on public safety. It is responsible for codes and standards designed to minimize the risk and effects of fire including those directly related to the professional qualifications of fire protection personnel:

  • NFPA 1001: Standard for Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications which identifies the minimum job performance requirements for career and volunteer fire fighters
  • NFPA 1031: Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Inspector and Plan Examiner which identifies the professional levels of performance required for fire inspectors and plan examiners
  • NFPA 1021: Standard for Fire Officer Professional Qualifications which identifies the minimum job performance requirements necessary to perform the duties of a fire officer

Curriculum review and oversight is provided by the 24-7 Fire Advisory Board, a highly experienced group of fire service providers.
